During the 1940's, Mary-Etta Broadwell wrote a column for the Covina Argus Citizen. Thanks to Lucy Wheeler's scrapbooks, the articles have been saved and can be viewed as a complete collection. Remember, that they were written over fifty years ago. Many of the old-timers who contributed to her column are no longer with us.

These and many other local writers' recollections are presented here to deepen understanding of how Covina began and grew. We have a vast collection that is slowly being added, so check back  for more biographies and original stories.
